In business since 1967, I am a professional model builder and
freelance writer currently accepting commissions for your scale model needs. I provide quality work, reasonable rates and am
conveniently located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.
Over the last 43 years, projects have ranged all the way from an engineering model
of a motorized toilet paper dispenser and Continental Trailways Bus with wings, to a
five-foot tall squeeze bottle, cement forms, pill pictures, study models and kit
buildups. And everything in between. Client list has included private
collectors, defense contractors, advertising agencies, architects, inventors, attorneys,
land developers, museums and a host of others.
My experience and low overhead enables me to successfully model
virtually any 3-dimensional object you might conceive, and I can usually make the project
fit YOUR budget.
Projects are
either scratchbuilt or kit based. Scratchbuilt models are
the ultimate challenge (and the most expensive)
because you start with nothing more than a set of
plans, verbal description or a few old photos.
Materials used to produce the model will
generally be a mix of media that attains the desired result.
Kits are used in
whole or in part wherever possible. This approach
allows me to provide the client with maximum detail at a reasonable
price. When the best solution requires both kits and scratchbuilding,
the two will be integrated seamlessly to produce a unified whole.
Client satisfaction is of
