KIT BUILDUPS

These models all began as commercially available plastic kits.  With the addition of custom markings and professional detailing, the finished model can faithfully represent a cherished moment from your past or, if you wish, the realization of a dream.

The Phantom is a McDonnell-Douglas F4B Phantom II in 1/48 scale. This is a kit buildup. Markings are custom made and depict an aircraft of VF-74 as it appeared while serving with the USS Forrestal during the early 1970s.

My clients are always pleased with the fine details that I preserve for them.

This Focke-Wolfe 190A is in 1/32 scale and was built from a kit for a client.  It exemplifies the care and attention to detail that I'm well known for.

Achtung!

This is a 1/25 scale Panzerkampfwagen VI (Tiger I) sporting a standard Sand-Yellow color scheme overall.  Built from a kit, this model includes functional torsion bar suspension and tracks created from individual links.

Another kit buildup, this is a Panzerkampfwagen V (Panther V), Sdkfz. 171, Ausf. A and is to 1/25 scale.  As with the Tiger I, torsion bar suspension is functional and track construction incorporates individual links.

Here's the Panther from the rear.  The camouflage duplicates the vehicle as it would have appeared during the winter on the Eastern Front in Russia.
