Due
to a total computer system failure, combined with a computer store doing an improper
backup, I have lost all of my emails and business records dating back for the last couple
of years.
I
ask that ANYONE who has had reason to contact me for ANY purpose, but ESPECIALLY orders of
CD-ROMs, wood bases, resin castings or modelbuilding services please contact me again.
There
are several outstanding orders that I am aware of, but do not have the information
necessary to either fill them or ship them. All
I can do is wait until each individual gets mad enough to contact me, wanting to know
where his order is.
This
disaster was the result of circumstances that were totally beyond my control.I ask for your patience and co-operation while I
work to get this train wreck back on the tracks.
Thank
you,
Richard

ModelBuilding Services by Richard Marmo
In business since 1967, I am a professional model builder and freelance writer
currently accepting commissions for your scale model needs. I offer quality work and
reasonable rates.
Over the last 35 years, projects have ranged all the way from an engineering model
of a motorized toilet paper dispenser and Continental Trailways Bus with wings, to a
seven-foot tall squeeze bottle, cement forms, pill pictures and kit buildups. And
everything in between. Client list has included private collectors, defense
contractors, advertising agencies, architects, inventors, attorneys, land developers and a
host of others.
My 40 years of experience and low overhead enables me to successfully model
virtually any 3-dimensional object you might conceive, and I can usually make the project
fit YOUR budget.
Click the pictures below for a closer look at my work.
Here is an architectural model I made from a "build your own
home" kit:
Seen below are a few of my many kit buildups:
Kits are used in whole or in part wherever possible. Doing so allows me to
provide the client with maximum detail at a reasonable price. When the best solution
requires both kits and scratchbuilding, the two will be integrated seamlessly to produce a
unified whole.
Scratchbuilt models are the ultimate challenge though because all you have to start
with is just a drawing or a verbal description. The plans must be drawn, the
materials selected, and most importantly - the customer must be satisfied. This next
project found its way into the local newspaper as a feature article about one of my more
challenging commissions.

Client satisfaction is of paramount importance. To that end, I
will work closely with you for the duration of a project to ensure your complete
satisfaction.
